G8 and G20 Summits were held in Toronto this past weekend and as usual protesters were out in full force. Black Bloc tactics were used by a small group of protesters and they smashed windows in store and business, clashed with police, set police cars on fire, etc. Definitely not the Canadian way of protesting.

Definitely not the Canadian way of enforcing the law either! "Special" laws and extraordinary police measures, 122 million dollar security budget, Guantanamo Bay style detention centre. I'm not too happy about burning cars and black-bloc tactics being used in my city either. I don't blame the police or protestors individually, there is something strange going on in this country and it's diminishing our constitutional rights. :violin:
