Hi

:budgie: Well im not exactly new new but still new. I found this place so I figured i would introduce my-self. I have had four years of experience with birds and almost a decades experience with fish. I dream of owning my own aquarium (public) and one day multple birds. I enjoy training all my pets. I don't have a camera because I save half my money for my future and spend the rest on pets. I have trained my budgie Zephyr multiple tricks, incluing potty training. My greatest pride are my fish that swim/jump through hoops, swim in circles, and do a underwater flip. I breed fish including black ghost knife fish, firemouth cichlids, guppies, platies, bettas, australian rainbowfish and swordtails (my first pets were seven swordtails in a 20 gallon tank. I am atempting glass catfish, and will soon go into saltwater tanks. I know this forum is for birds but to know me is to know my pets. I started with two teils named Kim and Mike kim was grey and mike was white with a yellow head, exactly like these :cockatiel: . My step brother always wanted a bird and so because are birthdays are close I gave him kim and mike because THey liked him better and were scared of me. For my birthday I got Zephyr(pure white) because I wanted a fresh start and we had an extra cage. Zephyr is very fond of me and I am getting him a new cage soon (Super Pet EZ Care Bow Front Mini Playtop Bird Cage for Small Birds) so I hope to become more educated and help others as well.

Welcome! Shows what I know about fish, I didn't know you could train them to do cool stuff like that! That's awesome.

It has everything to do with a shiny/colorful stick and a few small earthworms.

I train my fish too!!! plus my step brother had two teils, just like you described!!! they were never mine though... I also breed all of thoose fish plus african kilifish, cory cats and except I sold all my guppies and platies. But its neat that we both train/breed similar fish and had a conflict with two teils and a step brother.
