I've just joined, but I'm not new to loving Budgies. I have MS and live most of my time in a wheelchair, but I can do most anything I want to do. I also have a spinal cord injury that makes me lose my balance too. I am married to my best friend and we have two children and three grandchildren that live in other states and we are slaves to a sweet little papillion puppy-girl named Kyleigh. She is our baby girl and my service dog. She takes my socks off and picks up anything I have dropped on the floor and hand it to me. Kyleigh lets me know if someone is at the door , or if the phone rings, or the stoves or microwave buzzes , even though I can hear them perfectly well! lol. She can even take things out of the dryer for me. Kyleigh is my sweet companion and is very well trained and obeys all my commands. I had budgies while living in England with the USAF, my husband is retired USAF now, and I just love these little sweethearts.
I have four little Budgies and love them so much. Two Males and two Females. Mike & Mollie
Topaz & Jaden. Mike & Mollie are paired in their own cage and Jaden & Topaz are paired in their own cage. I've have them about a month now and am so glad to have budgies back in my life again.
