Is that just the baby plumage? Am I wrong to think they get some more color as they mature?

Hi Michael, she is fully feathered now. At maturity the females will grow more blue feathers on the rump and yellow on the underside of the wings.

Is there any differentiation between the neck and rest of body? Cause as far as I know all other Poicephalus parrots do have a different colored head which is the defining characteristic of Pois. It looks to me like a Ruppells parrot is the head color extended to the entire body?

Well, the finer feathers on the cheeks seem to be a lighter shade of grey. But the head and body are the same silver-black with a touch of green. I've been trying to get a picture of her in flight, they are much more colorful then I had expected

Oh wow she's so beautiful! You must be so excited and proud~ I must admit I hadn't heard of the Ruppells before, but I'm kind of tempted towards them now because of how gorgeous yours is  Plus she's a Poicephalus so how can she not be wonderful!
