Hi I'm new to this forum and came here through watching Duke's video on youtube.
I got a new blue budgie about 5 days ago (8/24/10) and it's still not very comfortable with my hand being too near him/her (too young to tell the gender). I've got a pretty large cage for it and feed it a mixed seed w/ fruit diet that my local bird shop makes.

Well that was my intro. Hoping to meet all the bird fans here and hoping to get some advice on bird care (i'm a noob -_-)

P.S. How do you upload a picture for your avatar... i tried doing it but when i try to get a picture down to 6kib, it's nearly microscopic.

Oh sorry, well i have a pretty unique (weird) name. It's Tomohiko (Japanese) but I go by Tomo for short. Rhymes Homo i know... but i'm not gay at all.

"Homo" actually means "human" or "same". So it IS accurate! Unless...you're not human, either...
