Hello there!

Hi!

Well, I cannot introduce you to my flock yet, because I haven't got any birds...yet. I've always been facinated by "parrots" and their intelligence and it wasn't until very recently that I felt like that could be the perfect pet for me.

But before I buy one, I want to gather up as much info on them as I can, with all the how to's, don't's, diet and general care.

I've been more and more drawn to Senegal Parrots, for many reasons, they are beautiful, not too big for my appartment but not too small either. And I can tell they are smart, you see it in their eyes, that they really do think, and process multiple tasks/choices at once.

So i guess that will have to do for an introduction for now, hopefully i'll be able to introduce a new member in a not too distant future. Until then, take care and thank you for a very informative forum.

Edit: Oh, and I am living in Sweden, finishing of my master's in Media Science at the University of Linköping

Cheers!

It seems you are on the right track. I was researching parrots and had decided on an African Grey three years before I finally found Manzi. I don't know much about Senegal parrots, but I think there are other members here who are familiar with them. Good luck and let us know when you get the new flock member.
