I'm a fairly new birdie owner in Sydney Australia. I have an olive green Budgie called Floyd (who is actually a girl) and am looking forward to learning more about training and different enrichment options for her. What are your favourite enrichment ideas if you own a small parrot?
She's quite tame, I found her as a very young baby in the dog park sitting hunched at the base of a tree. It was not an area that has wild Budgies so I assume that she was lost and had no luck finding her owner. Since then I got her a friend who sadly escaped his cage when it was knocked to the ground and he was chased away by nasty mynah birds pecking at him. I have been unable to find him.
So, it is just me and Floyd for now.
