I'm new to the forum, and I just wanted to
introduce myself and my gorgeous boy Bailey.
Well, hiya! My name is Amber, I'm an aussie female, 14 turning 15 on december the 14th
I've always loved birds, I've had 2 budgies and a cockatiel. So for my 15th
birthday, I went out and bought my own birthday present.
Introducing..
Bailey!
Bailey is a 12 week old Rose-Breasted Cockatoo
(Aka Galah!),He's super friendly since he's been hand-raised. He absoloutly adore kisses
and sometimes even gives tonguies..
I got to choose him from a cage with 3 other Galahs, and he was the one who
crawled up the side of the cage and stuck his beak out at me, begging for a kiss and a scratch!
It was love at first sight most deffinately.
At first, we were looking at a gorgeous Indian Ringneck male
but it turns out, it wasn't hand reared as the advert said, infact, he ran away sqawking when I tried to scritch him! Oh dear. So we spent some time looking around for the perfect bird. I had countless weeks of researching all the different breeds of birds, and came to the conclusion that a Galah is what I deffinately wanted!
So we searched for one high and low, until we found the gorgeous Bailey.
