What a gorgeous photo! Bailey is astounding, lovely, and so is his human slave.

Mr. Dodo and I once 'met' a gallah at a pet store in the town where we used to live, and the gallah took to Mr. Dodo right away. Didn't seem to like me at all. No reaction when I spotted the gallah first, s/he just sat on the perch regarding me in a bored, almost contemptuous way.
You should have seen the bird's personality change when the old man came up to see him. The bird fluffed his feathers, shook, and put on a full display for him. S/He danced, bowed...it was unbelievable! I was incredulous. Talk about a parrot trying to pick a human slave, eh?
LOL! at your nose stud. When I had our late Mott The Hoople (a singly-kept male peach-face lovebird) I couldn't wear most earrings and necklaces were out of the question, too.
I have triple piercings in each of my ears and when we had our Mott I never wore earrings, so the third piercings have closed up.
Oh, those naughty parrots and our jewellery! I'd repierce my ears but I'm too old and jaded to bother...
