Hello Ruby, Welcome to the forum.I don't know if strobe lights are harmful.I the issue is if the strobe is disturbing your birds sleep , and you are probably the best judge of that. Can't imagine why anyone would have a strobe light but to each his own. Maybe you should have them over to meet your birds if there's an issue , explain it to them. I'm not the best to consult about neighbors as i don't like em!

Thankyou for your help , My neighbours do not like my parrots sing ,They say that our house is like a zoo with our boys ( Birds ) . My boys do not get up till 09:00 am & are a sleep at 21:00 .
I do not seem to mind my birds singing & talking so why should they ?
I will go & ask my vet if he knows any thing a bout strober lights . My poor little cockatoo stats to screem every time the silly neighbour puts it on . I have tryed to move my parrots to a nother side of the room . But has you would know then there not happy little parrots any more . They have had the same spot in the window for the last 11 years & 5 years . So i do not think i should move them .
Thank you once again Best wishes Ruby Ellen !!

The easiest solution might be to get a blackout shade you can pull down when the strobe light goes on. Presumably it is already dark when they are using it. I suspect it would be more annoying than harmful, but I could certainly imagine it irritating the heck out of your birds.

If you did have to move the cages, they'd probably eventually get used to it. Are they on wheels? Maybe you could move them for a few hours every day so it won't be as much of a shock if you have to do it permanently? They do survive moving house entirely, so it must be possible for them to acclimate to a change of location within the house, as long as it is still a good location. I should point out that I personally haven't done either thing (move house or move cages) with my birds yet, but I've certainly read plenty of advice on doing so.

I think it could potentially cause your parrots some stress. How about changing the cage locations?
