she is 3 years old. i adopted her when she was 2. i was stationed in Georgia and saw an adoption post for her online. Her old owner took very good care of her so i drove down to Florida to see slurpie. her old owner developed a lung problem and since her greys make so much dander she had to put them up for adoption. after a couple hours of ensuring i was a good parent i got to take her home =).

here is a vid i took last month .

Slurpie is a beautiful lady. Not only is she chatty, but the things she is saying show that she has been well cared for in a loving environment.

But how do you get away with wearing that nice neck chain and cross with a parrot on your shoulder? I have to remove every type of jewelry when I handle the birds, or they will do it for me!
