Hey I'm New

Postby mallymoments » Wed Feb 02, 2011 11:21 pm

hello i am from alberta canada, i have one sweetheart of a senegal. She has been rehomed so many times i wondered if she would beable to bond with our family. But she is starting to come around. Luckily the first person she bonded to was my five yr old son, for a few weeks he was the only one who could pet her. now she is bonded to me and i get to pet her which is awesome!

A hearty welcome to another Alberta slave to feathered children! There are many Senegal owners here so if you have any questions, or just need to discuss Senegal quirks, this is the place to be!

Was your bird rehomed privately or through a rescue agency? Don't mean to pry, just that I have lately been thinking about a second bird and there are not many rescue agencies here in Alberta, at least that I can find. Not too many breeders left either for that matter.

Birds are a miracle because they prove to us there is a finer, simpler state of being which we may strive to attain.
