A new little guy...

Postby Tandi » Sun Mar 06, 2011 6:58 pm

Last week I became a Mom to the sweetest little TAG! What a honey! We have called him Jet, a safe-ish unisex kind of name! He (or she, but I'm hoping he...) Is 15 weeks old and is so little...well, he's tiny next to my Jodi monster! She (Jodi) isn't very impressed, she can be quite nasty to him if he get's close to her, so they are getting acquinted from a distance for now, but I am sure that she will get used to him and they will get on just fine! She hasn't shown any signs of unhappiness, she just glares at him from time to time, especially if she is up on her cage and he sits in her spot on the couch! Heehee!

My flock seems to be growing at a rate of knots! I'm up to four, 2 pets (Jodi and Jet) and 2 wild breeding CAG's (Dexter and Deedee)

Hey Tandi, Better keep an eye on Jodi, I know several of my hens don't like to share,(See the vid Jake and Yellow Bird ) They don't seem to mind the smaller birds but get jealous over larger birds. Don't think that Jodi won't kill her if she gets a chance. Good Luck Richard

Thanks for always giving such great advice Richard, it's wonderful to have someone with your knowledge to be able to ask advice from! I will keep an eye on Jodi, for now I keep them apart, and will until I know she is completely okay with him! I am confident she will be fine with him in time!

Stunning Maighen, I hope you have many happy years with your Frankie! It's strange...but a little while ago my Dad went to look at a Grey called Frankie who was being rehomed too! He ended up getting a baby though that he has called Ruby!

Thanks Glass Onion, I think it's cute! I would love to upload pics, but I am usually on from my phone and I'm not sure how to upload them from there!
