Im Nina, from London UK but originally from Sweden, so sorry for any bad spelling in advance! My fiance is Richard, and we're pleased to meet you!
We stumbled across Kili, Truman and Michaels videos a while back, and both me and my fiance fell comepletely for the Senegal parrot. Truman is absolutely lovely as well, but Kili truly stole our hearts. So, when the opportunity arose to care for one that has already been in 3 homes in his short 10 month life, we did not hesitate.(We had naturally read up lots and lots before this, as we were planning on getting one anyways, and I have at least some experience that may come in handy from having bred cockatiels and trained horses and dogs in my days.)
So, yesterday Sazu moved in with us, and thanks to Michael and Kathleen we started out todays morning with some clicker training. He is quite scared, and not familiar with hands at all. However, he quickly found out that I was offering food in my fingers, and soon that was more interesting than biting me. Clever bird!
We may have some way to go yet, and naturally it will take some time to gain his trust. But I am confident that he will be a wonderful company, and a great companion, for many many years to come!

Thank you all for the great information on these forums, for sharing all your tips and tricks! Hopefully we will be able to share some as well eventually.
See you out there!
Sazu and Nina
