HI FROM NORWAY

Postby samu » Mon Apr 25, 2011 9:50 am

hello parrotworld!

my name is Linda and I am 31 years young..
I have 3 birds. 1 senegal parrot and 2 cockatiels.

I got my first bird when my father died, i adopted his cockatiel. I dont know how old the bird is but i think it was about 1.5 years when i got it, in 2009. when i got the bird I was told it was a boy so i named him RIKK. :greycockatiel: I will tell u about how i found out that he was a girl...

my second bird i got beacause RIKK looked a little lonley..
the breeder said that the bird i wanted was a girl, so that was perfect because RIKK was a boy.
I called this new cockatiel CAROMILLA. :greycockatiel:
neither of my cockatiels are tame.

when CAROMILLA was about 1 year old she started klimbing RIKKs back... they do this all the time now many times a day...
soooo, RIKK is a girl and CAROMILLA is a boy...

my last bird is a senegal parrot named JANO. :senegal: he is really a cuddleboy. he is born in sweden and i got him from a petstore. i think he was handled as a baby, because it didnt take long before he was tame.

i just started target training JANO. hope to get him to do many tricks.
i love my birds

Welcome to the forum.

Michael has some great articles on taming your birds in that section of the forum. There are also a lot of cockatiel owners here that can help you.
