My name is KC and I have two birds - a Pacific parrotlet and a baby blue parakeet. My parrotlet is Rocco, and my parakeet is named Biscuit. My parakeet was my first bird, and I got her as a college graduation gift 4 years ago. About 6 months later I bought myself my parrotlet. He is hand raised and the sweetest little thing. I'm looking into getting a larger parrot in the next year or so, so I hope to gather a lot of information from this website. Right now I'm thinking Cape parrot, blue fronted amazon (though the potential aggressiveness worries me) or Maximillian Pionus. I'm about 99% cape right now!
I would love a parrot that is playful, loves to show off for people, doesn't mine the occasional snuggles and can talk. Though I know they don't all talk, so that is not critical. Just would be an added bonus!I'm looking forward to reading as many threads as I can!
