hiya im jane i have an aviary of budgies and 1 tiel soon to be 3tiels once my 2 new tiels have done there quarantine time :). i also breed budgies and produce some gorgeous colours end up keeping most of them lol.
indoors i have tiger the cockatiel shes amazing and i handreared her from a baby since she was plucked by her mummy. and living with her in a large cage is 2 budgies 1 called tilly and the other i havent found a name for but they all get on great together.

and then theres demon there is some history with him but its a long story lol so long story short i rescued him about 6 years ago (wow its been that long :O) the poor fella was in a tiny cage he couldnt even stretch his wings in there and it was rounded he was always a growler before i got him and was also covered up 24/7 i hated seeing him in that state and practically begged my dad to get him for me at the time i knew nothing about birds but when my dad surprised me on my birthday i went about doing some research. took me 2 years to gain this amazing birds trust but truthfully he isnt tame and can probably easily be tamed im just useless at the attempt :( at one point i had him in my hands and nibbling my fingers but not biting and that has since dissapeared. he cant fly at all though i wish he could im here to hopefully learn more about taming him and training him aswell as learn to have more fun with him playfullness wise. can easily stroke him through the cage. he loves the song soldier boy and dances and tries to sing to it so funny. knows loads of words and none of them sware words and one of my fave is "want some food" hes says bye aswell oh i love it :P :gray:

just to add i also a 2 fish tanks a dog called casper :P

from the uk aswell

Hi Jane! Welcome!

Budgies sure to come in an amazing spectrum of colors.

I had read once that the Queen of England had a free flying flock of budgies. That must have been quite a sight!

Welcome to the forum!

I have two budgies, and I love all the colors they come in. I currently have a Lutino female and Slate male. I've been looking for an Albino for ages, but haven't yet found one.

I'd love to see the color combinations you've got if you've got pictures of them.

Here's something about budgies at Windsor Castle

Last I heard they don't free fly them anymore but I don't know.

Would be awesome to see!
