I do own them and I enjoyed them a lot :D
I ordered them about 2 weeks ago and funny thing I was going to open the topic about how professional bird watcher you're and that there is worth every cent to order it. Now you came to forum before that...
My review is very positive. Once again I hope you'll stay here longer and tell us more about your trip to all those parts in Australia.
How was you able to find out those Orange-belied Parrots? That's mystery, with so little left...

Margaret so glad to hear that you enjoyed your DVD set and that you found them to be a good value.
Its a dream come true to know that people found them so enjoyable. You can well imagine when one sits behind a computer using editing software for 2 years that all of that footage just tends to blur together in one's mind at times.

What was tough for me was trying to assess correctly if others, and not just me, would find the footage enjoyable. Since I was there and had those experiences myself, naturally I am going to view things quite differently. However I was deeply moved by the beauty and adventure of it all. I will never forget it thats for sure! When I hear comments like yours I can only assess that the series is enjoyable for not just me but for others.

I have been asked to write 3 articles for the Parrot Society of Australia so hopefully I will be able to share more with folks there.

I am not sure if this works but maybe a separate thread where you could just share what you thought about the series and also questions you had about the film might be in order. Then I can easily explain more. That might make it easier to follow as this is a thread dedicated to just saying hi and introductions. Would that work Margaret?

Cheers!

Don

Of course! But be careful what you wish for. There is more of us here who have a weakness for Australian Parrots. Once we start, you won't have time for answer us ;)

I asked the parrot and your company related question in your other topic, here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5360

They sure are amazing to see flying wild. I saw a flock of about 1000 in SW queensland. It was one of the hi-lights of my trip!
