Hi I am new to this forum and I am currently birdless :( however I am in the pursuit of another big bird :) my last bird died about a year ago and I know realized I am ready to give a loving bird (hopefully a rescue) a home it dearly needs. Nice to be on this forum and I look forward to chatting!

Always nice to see another Pennsylvanian on here! There's the Bird Rescue of York County, but they deal specifically with passerines and I don't think they do adoptions. Lair of Dragons operates out of Lancaster and has a variety of parrots available. I adopted my little GCC from the Bailey Foundation, but they operate out of the Lehigh Valley which may be a bit far for you.

Once we move (to Delaware gap area) our rescue will be about a 2 hr drive for you but probably well worth it. We have many toos, not so many grays, they tend to be adopted quickly, but you will be afforded the opportunity to "stay and play". Will keep you informed as to the time schedule of our move, looking like the next several weeks, but we'd be more than willing to work with you.
