Hey Hey!

Hi there, I'm Jen, 23, from Chicagoland. My mom and I are recently new owners of a Amazon Red Lored (we've had her about 3 months).

This is Maggie, she's still a baby (under 1 yr still) but we love her! She talks a little bit ("pretty bird" and the rare "hello" or "uh oh") and whistles. We're working on training a little, mostly trying to get her out of biting.

My new hobby is parrot toy making! so I'm always looking for ideas, etc.

Very beautiful amazon. How are you and your mom adjusting to having a feathered baby in the house?

Thanks! It's complicating sometimes that's for sure haha, but she's pretty well behaved... also pretty spoiled! She's hard to keep occupied that's for sure lol. She has a basket of foot toys on top of her cage but she empties it pretty quickly! She doesn't seem to play with the toys inside very much though.
