Thank you everyone! Well I made this video tonight of Kiwi and P.J. and it pretty well sums up how they get along. :) Kiwi is five months old and molting. I think he is a little cranky because he is just mean. I think my daughter needs to spend more time with him.

I wanted a bird that had a good chance to be a talker. The larger Macaws, Amazons, and Greys intimidated me. Quakers are illegal in Kansas, so I chose the IRN. I know it's not a beginner bird so I did a lot of research and I spend a great deal of time with him. Today was our four week mark, and he came and got on my shoulder several times today just for social interaction. I was thrilled to see that he finally seems to be bonding to me... we took that at his pace. He is turning into such a sweet little baby, I'm so glad that I took the step to becoming a bird owner.

Zaza, he is as soft as he looks. But he will definitely get the ring since he is male, but it may take three years to show up. :thumbsup:

It's cool to see a ringneck next to a conure and compare sizes.
