Hello! My name is Natalie and I have 2 parrots, Ozzie (AKA Monster) and Murphy . They are both 13 years old. I had Ozzie to the vet today because he hasn't quite been acting like himself lately (mostly, he's been nicer than usual ), but they gave him a clean bill of health based on external and poop observations. If he's still acting weird then I'll take him in for some blood work. Is it weird of me to want to find out why he's being less of a monster???

no, your concern is legitimate...wish my one amazon would get nicer....lol...keep an eye on your bird and note any physical differences, if there are none you are a lucky parrot owner....lol...the best of luck to you

I don't blame you, If I noticed a change in any of my pets behavior, I would be concerned too.

Oh yeah me too! If their behavior changes on its own accord, that could mean something for sure. It could also mean the seasons are changing or their hormones too! My B&G is going through one right now, but since he is showing the same behavior with my wife as he always had I am not really concerned. I think he is just angry with me for leaving for week, then coming back and moving his room all around.
