WOW! That's one harsh bird lol! How is a Indian Ringneck Parrot :irn: . My neighbor has one and seems pretty good and it's not loud at all. It looks like a Indian Ringneck :irn: but he says it's a Mustache Parakeet.

Parrotlover - your bird will learn your schedule and even know what time you are coming home.
It will only be upset if you break your schedule.

I have a box of toys for my Amazons. The box has paper towel tubes, pieces of wood, plastic lids that I put through the dishwasher (including laundry bottle lids), clothespins and any odd piece of plastic that is strong enough to go through the dishwasher.

The cockatiels I have different feeding stations all over their cage. I put millet in a cereal box at the bottom of the cage (no waste) that gives them another place to go for goodies.

Of course I have store bought toys too and swap them out so they don't get bord. I run them through the dishwasher before I store them for the next time.

The Lovebirds have toys but seem to prefer to play together. They have a miniature world going on in their cage.

Now you got it.
Just remember that budgies are little so need little toys in a low box. They can't rummage through and pick up things underneath like an Amazon.
A little swing would be inexpensive and they love to swing.
