Parakeet Decision!

OK I'll have me a Parakeet either this week or weekend!!! I can't wait! I'm thinking about getting a boy one though. What should I name it?! And I'm definetly going to show you'll some pictures asap! So about the names I was thinking....................... I don't even know any boy parrot names! If it would be a girl it would be Cloe. And after I name it I'm going to set up a YouTube Channel so you guys can watch some videos, subscribe, friend, and like my videos!

My dad wanted me to get a Cockatiel because he thinks Parakeets are loud and make alot of noise. Als since we have a dog he thinks if the Cockatiel were to get out and my dog is around and they 'meet up he thinks the Cockatiel would have a better time getting away then the Parakeet would. And Parakeets seem to small...

Wait, no no! He thinks Budgies are loud?

Cockatiels have LOUD shrill screams, they are MUCH MUCH louder than a Budgie could ever be!
I can hear my tiel from outside the house with all doors closed.

My cockatiel spends 4-6hours everyday whistling, and it can be heard upstairs.

Parakeets are NOT loud. I lived for a bit with TWO and they just chatter. In fact, now that they are gone, i still go on to youtube to listen to parakeets. They just make me feel all peaceful-like
