Ok that's good! I made a little perch out of this soft cupid arrow that's bendible and flexible so I connected it to my lamp to my shelf. Also you can't even post anything pictures on here! The pictures that everyone tak sare all to "big" It's sort of rediculouse how small I have to make my pictures to get them on the website.

I don't even know what I'm going to name him. Names I have in mind: Cloe (girl), Truman (boy), and Chevy *she-v* (Universal).

Also do I need to cover the cage at night? :?

But he is a little piggelt he likes to eat and he doesn't seem real fond of millet. But I thin khe just doesn't know what it is lol.

GlassOnion didn't mean to put a harness on him right now. In a couple of weeks after he has claimed you as his flock leader you can try it.

It is like giving a cat a bath. If you start when they are kittens they will tolerate it better when they are adults and get into something stinky.

Oh OK well I sort of killed my budget for him at the moment so it's going to be atleast a month till I get him a harness.[

congrats!!

I cover the cage at night but only around the sides, I leave the top open for light.

I would suggest you let the bird GENTLY get used to you and his new home.....take it easy you have him for years so you dont have to do it all at once. Sometimes they get freaked out when outside from all the stimulus. I have an outdoor cage but I dont allow him out there all day unattended, if a racoon or hawk came.......even if he is in a cage he could get very injured in a panic in the cage....slow and steady wins the race....

good luck

my new baby meyers is on her way home RIGHT NOW from the airport with my husband, i will keep you all posted!!!!!!!!!

Parrotlover - you have had plenty of time to find a name. Now that you have him - a name will come to you while you are playing.

Lol. I'm thinking Cloe. It looks like a girl and if it was a boy I think it would make more noise. =D
