A friend for my rosella

I have a beautiful Eastern Rosella and was considering getting her a friend for company. I have no idea if this is a good idea or not, but I am a teacher and am gone during the day so I wanted her to have some company. She has a large cage that she is free to come and go from in her own room I share with her and the computer. She flies and has perches around the room and I do put on bird music for her most days. I live in Florida and am unable to open the windows due to the extreme heat. Do you have any suggestions or am I being too worried about her being lonely?
