Hi and Thanks for having me.
I am a 60 (just turned) yr old Grandmother who hasnt been able to work outside the home for some time now. I have a house of pets that we have rescued for the most part. We have 4 dogs, 7 cats, 13 ferrets, 2 sugar gliders , 2 canaries, two cockateils and now a baby 3 month old conure who I believe is a turquoise green cheek.
He is the sweetest little thing, loves to snuggle and be with me all the time if I let him.
I am realativaley new to birds so I am eager to learn all I can about their care, behavior, etc.

I don't have a bird yet but I'm in prep mode for a green cheek conure. I've joined the forum in an attempt to do some learning while I'm looking for my new birdie friend and prepping a home for him/her.

Woman - you are as crazy as I am. No - crazier. How do you ever walk through the house with 13 ferrets?

Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to have you here. I am 61. My non feathered kids are 5 dogs, 6 cats, 1 guinie pig and 1 iguana. Oh - I keep forgetting the 2 boxers outside and the baby boxer pee pot running through the house (he is 6 weeks and is now the size of my small chichuahua).
