I have an eastern rosella called nolan ive had him for about 6 months we are working on hand taming its taking a long time but some progress is being made. he had become less timid of hands, he will step up on to my hand for a treat if he is hungry (try taking his food away for a few hours and let him have a fly around so that he is hungry) depending on what mood he is in. ive found he is easier to work with on an afternoon. he likes listening to music, and loves his bath. he has also reacently started landing on the floor when out of his cage where before he tended to land on high objects like picture frames. he also loves his bath. if you find anthing that works let me know we can share tips x x Nolan will always step up for a strawberry

Hi, thank you. Dexter does love his strawberries they seem to be his favourite. He does walk around the floor, we have had him for 2 months and is now months old. He likes his bath but only if it's quite warm :) . He did actually come over and peck my finger today but soon fled and he will now take food out of my hand quite confidently. Like Nolan, Dexter too likes music, like you say it is taking a long time for me too, thanks for the tip I shall try taking his food away and let you know how I get on :) x
