How old was the baby?
Was it weaned?
What simptoms did it show?
Did you study on Quakers before you bought it?
What condition was it in when you bought it?
Who did you buy it from?
Have you gone back to where you got it to check with the previouse owner?

Is this your first bird? What did you house it in? Did you make sure all toys and housing materials were non toxic?

You're going to have to give us more info because simply saying that it died isn't helpful at all. 10 days is enough for poisoning to happen to a Quaker. It's not really enough for a disease to run its course, depending on when it was contracted.

Pictures of the cage would help, along with explanations of what you did with the bird, as well as what you fed it.
