Aloha from Hawaii! A new Blue Headed Puonus mom...

Aloha!

I just got a 5 month old baby Blue Headed Pionus Poe a month ago.
She has been a great baby so far, but would love to learn to train her like Kili and Truman!

I am not new to Parrots, but Poe is a first parrot I have owned in past 8 years and since Pionus us very unique I am eager to learn more about her!

Poe is trained to step up and off, she accepts our scratch and cuddle, I can touch her back, beak, feet, and hold her like a pigeon but she is not too comfortable with being touched under the wing, wing being spread, held upside down or laying on her back. I have not pushed her too much yet and since she is not really food motivated, I find it is hard to start the training....
I am hoping that by learning more from people with experience, I will be able t form stronger bond with her and have fun training with her.
