New here

Postby birdluv07 » Tue Dec 13, 2011 1:53 pm

Hello all,

I am new here, but have been wanting to join a bird forum for some time now. I have two parrots; a Senegal named Marti (female) and a Nanday named Satchel (male). They are the same age (1 year, 7 months). I'm looking forward to getting to know some people here so I can find out more about bird training (best places to start for relatively well-behaved bird), bird games, recipes, etc. :)

A bit about me...I'm female, 29 years old, married...and far less interesting than my birds! ;) :senegal:

Welcome to the board. I am sure that you will find there is a wealth of knowledge here.

As for bird recipes, 375 degrees for 30 minutes in a nice butter cream sauce :o , LOL
Seriously, I guess you are talking about birdie bread?

LOL. Yes, recipes THEY like to eat...not how I'd eat them! (Though if my Nanday doesn't stop screaming... ;) )

Besides, Marti would make a very small meal indeed. Hardly worth the effort of getting past all the biting. hehe

Seriously though, I want to expose my Senegal to new foods, but she is extremely resistant.
