hello all im new to the forums but i have been reading articles for a while but just decided to join today. im working on retraining my senegal parrot (moya) as of recently she has been bitey and very noisy, when she used to be the sweetest bird ive ever known. she would take to my finger no problem and would enjoy just sitting on her cage or my shoulder/couch with out much fuss. about 2 months ago something changed in her and she bites really hard and screams a lot! we live in an apartment so i dont want/ cant have her making too much noise and disturbing the neighbors.
i have been working on positive reinforcement for being quiet or making cute noises, but she still needs a lot of work. as of 2 minutes ago she just bit my finger again after a few rounds of the "up-up game" i tried to ignore it as much as i could, but when there is a beak penetrating your finger its hard to not do anything.
I am not new to birds, i have owned some parakeets (budgies) and a cockatiel, and most of my family members have parrots as well (greys

, meyers

, conures

). I live in Southern Oregon, and if any one knows of any good parrots stores or like places that might be of help id love the advice!
sincerly, Josh and Moya
