Hello from Holland

Postby Marsha » Fri Dec 23, 2011 9:29 am

Hi, I'm Marsha, 24 years old and I'm from The Netherlands.
Since the beginning of this year me and my boyfriend are the proud owner of 2 Eclectus males: Phoenix & Phantom.
First there was only Phoenix but because we felt really sad for him being alone whenever we were out, we got him a play friend, and friends they are!
Phoenix was a rather shy bird at first but when he first saw Phantom he did a total 180 on us.
We bought a bigger cage with a divider because we had no idea if they were even going to be friends. But after only 3 weeks we pulled the divider out because they seemed much happier being together, and after the first night we could see by the poop on the cagefloor that they had been sleeping next to each other. So for us and the birds a really good decision to get a second bird, they are like twins.. Wanna do everything together.
Phoenix is 1 year and 4 months now and Phantom is almost 9 months.
But enough talk, here are some photos:

On the tree.. They are on this tree whenever we are at home.

They are just adorable. That is funny that one is trying to put it together and the other is taking it apart.
