New member from Colorado

Hello everyone! I just joined this forum and thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a Pre-Veterinary student from Colorado and I have been a bird lover for a very long time. I have owned several types of birds in the past, including cockatiels, lovebirds, budgies, finches, doves, and button quail. Unfortunately, I had to find new homes for all of my birds a few years ago due to my Mom's lung condition. However, now that I have my own apartment, I am happy to announce that I will be getting a bird again!

In about a week, I will be adopting a beautiful 2 year old female crimson bellied conure. I can't wait to meet her! Here is a picture of her:


I have been doing lots of research on proper conure care and I'll be sure to ask questions if and when I have any.
