hi, if you look up parrots for adoption you can find rescues near you. i adopted my ducorps cockatoo.i talked to them about what i was looking for and they told me everything about her. they told me to research her, gave me the number of her foster home who i spoke to for about a week,i went to her foster home and spent a day with her, then after home visit i signed the contract and they brought her home.
