Hi Albert12,
It sure is nice to have another parrot hater here to keep me company. You've narrowed your parrot hatred down to just large birds, that's good. They truly are awful disgusting creatures that absolutely do not belong in homes. However, you have to understand that some people (mostly the crazy ones) get enjoyment out of having them as pets. They're a very egocentric pet and typically only benefit a single person while tormenting others. I just want you to know that there's nothing wrong with you, it's perfectly normal to hate them.

Also, when I first came here I had a lot of bottled up frustration about large parrots and I found it very helpful to vent about it here. There are some very smart and objective parrot owners here that won't mind your ranting.

What's not normal is to make a fool of yourself by wasting your time on a parrot lover's forum expressing it.

This is my first reply to you I think, and while you are correct that there are indeed loads of smart and objective parrot owners on these board, I dont for a second think anyone wants you around here. I havnt replied to your trolling simply because you shouldnt feed the trolls, but come on, in which reality are you currently residing?

Albert, if you really need help, dont do the mistakes that poor Dorp did when he came here, namely bitch about how scary and disgusting parrots are. Be objective, ignore the troll dorp and I am sure we will all do our very best to help you.

I'm not trying to get into a fight over the definition of trolling but I've never trolled or attempted to troll in any way during my time here though. I've never deliberately tried to get anyone mad or anything like that. The whole time I've been here I have only sincerely expressed myself. I'm sorry if you went out of your way to avoid me because you thought I was a troll.

So, why is it you still post here? Do you crave the attention?

i am a fan of dorp, he reminds me of my boyfriends first reaction to my bluefronted amazon when we first met. he now snuggles on the couch with my cockatoo, and kisses her goodbye everyday when leaving for work.
