Hi
My name's Michelle and I live with my OH and our YS GCC JJ who will be 1 next Tuesday. he's our baby and bosses us around no end!
On 14th feb we will be joined by a sun conure of unknown sex, about 8 years old. I do some work for a parrot rescue charity and he is coming in as a rescue (his owners are moving abroad). He will stay with us for a month so we can get to know him. He may stay with us long term and go with me to shows where we promote the charity (in which case he will be clipped), stay with us as a long term foster or be rehomed into a lifelong foster home, whichever of these work best for him. We're really interested to see how JJ copes with having another bird in the house, he'll no longer get ALL of our attention!

Why are you clipping the conure? A flighted bird is much happier, healthier and more confident than a clipped one. And if you are doing shows for charity, flight demonstrations would be very impressive!
