hi I,m new to this forum,my question is, I have had a male talking budgie for 4 years now,I keep him in a cage in the house which is open all day and he is free to fly around, but sadly he needs to be rehomed because I live in the canary Islands and I,m moving to the uk, I have the chance for him to go into a avairy with other budgies, will he be ok.many thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi ronniedeedee,
I'm sorry you have to give your little baby up. I am by far no expert but if I was in your shoes I would be talking plenty with the avairy owners to see what they say. Will they be able to keep you posted on what his life is like while he is there? Will they tell you about any possible adoptive families that have taken a liking to him? Have any of the other birds in the avairy been from previous owners? What is the success rate of the re-homing?
Best wishes with your decision.
