Newbie with a parrot

Hi, I'm Leslie and I've got Paco, a 15-year-old double yellow faced parrot. His owner died and now I have him. I know nothing about birds except what I've figured out in the past 2 weeks (like that he can't just eat tostitos and pretzels no matter how he protests). Hope to learn a ton here.

There are many rewards with a rehome/rescue parrot. I don't want to remember my life without them.

I have had to start eating healthier because my Amazons want what I am eating. Rambo, my pedestian just plain begs. He says "huh huh" or "is that good?". If I don't share with Myrtle she tries to steal some of it. When she gets it she will tell me "it's good".

That is very funny Liz. Our Jojo eats with us most of the time and always makes sure he gets his share. Must be cute to see them beg
