The thing that concerns me about the yoshiblue is that the instructions say not to put on high heat because it will damage the pan. Not sure if that means that things start to break down. As for it's toxicity, I have no idea. See if you can find some information on google about that.

I have 3 pieces of nonstick cookware I've accumulated over the last few years for things like cooking oatmeal and frying eggs. But I'll be throwing one of them out because it's old, and replacing the other two with whatever else I can find that is as close to non-stick i can find.

Well I've never cooked on high with any of my pans and i didn't see anything about the yoshiblue containing anything toxic... but I'm still looking that up.

Well, I was struggling so badly to find a name for Indiana that out of frustration, while watching TV, I told myself that the next name that shows up on TV was going to be her name. Then a commercial for an Indiana Jones movie came on. That's how she got that name. LOL!

(My iPhone sound is broken so I replaced the silence for some YouTube booty music. ;) )

btw, that's my 5yr old daughter Maya petting him. She's a little rough I think... but she'll learn.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about the loss of Indiana, but it's exciting that you're getting another CAG!

As far as cookware, I think cast iron is the best. No toxic fumes, pretty easy to take care of once properly seasoned, and nothing cooks better - especially when it comes to steak and burgers! A good set of cast iron pans will last a lifetime if properly cared for. In fact, my mom cooks with her grandmother's set. For cookie sheets, Pampered Chef sells stoneware cookie sheets that are great! Like cast iron, you have to season them, but everything I bake on mine comes out perfectly.

Shelby is right, cast iron is great. Imo it works perfectly with anything, including eggs, pancakes etc. Its all i ever use these days!
