Welcome Stacy,

I glad to hear you have a small parrot species to start out with. One thing that I fine is a good way of keeping our companions happy and healthy is involving them into our lives by giving them a lot of out of the cage time, but remember you also need to set limits and boundaries for them. They are like children in a sense. A healthy diet is also necessary.

Hi Stacy,

Yup  they're certainly a lot of work that feeling is normal. You'll pick it up as you go---I'm seven years in and still learning :)

Hello stacey. I do agree with giving your new friend alot of out of cage time as they seem to enjoy that. I'm quite new to own a parrot myself so don't feel bad.
