Hello from me and the flock!

Postby birdybea » Tue Apr 03, 2012 5:52 pm

So i'm thinking the info under my name will give a lot away! I'm an Aussie enjoying life with a flock of 13 parrots ranging in size from budgie to macaw. :D Certainly keeps my partner, Steve, and myself busy but we wouldn't have it any other way! Looking forward to having a read of some posts here.

Understandably. But that's why I can't figure out if the reason "budgerigar" means "good to eat" is out of sarcasm or because the aborigines would put a dozen on a skewer and have a budgikebab?
