good morning to everyone!

I come from Italy, and I have a cockatiel, a female cinnamon 1 year old.
I'm not good in english language, so be patient.
I found this forum with a little 'luck, because in Italy the majority of people only see the parrots as birds to put in a cage, while I, and others, we see them as pets.
I have much to learn from all of you, and I will read with pleasure, following the advice "stolen" even before registering on the site.

Ps: I read and read again this little message 5 or 6 times to find the errors ... better to use the translator next time ... hehe

Hi lamu,
I am new here too. Your English is understood perfectly; don't bother with the translator. This seems to be an excellent forum on parrot care. I hope you can try to change the mind of some your fellow Italians in how to care for a bird. Bless you. :hatched:

Hi. Your English is fine, don't worry.

It's great that you see birds as living animals that need a good life. Where I am from in pakistan, as much as I hate it, people buy birds and they get a cage which is about 5 cm bigger than the birds so the bird can't move and has no exercise. This is not everyone, just most people in my village. They don't even let the birds out, just keep them in a cage to look at.
