hey
i live in the uk,england
my first parrot was a 1 year old african grey i bought for £700 at 17 called MISTY and she was like a best friend but then she turned really grumpy and i just could not handle her so i handed her into a local shelter where she can fly around in one of the countrys biggest aviaries.
my partner then bought herself a cockatiel called snoopy and i got bird insomnia/jealousy so seeked a bird of my own,i went to someones house (i still have no idea who they were or why i was there) and noticed a cage with 5/6 tiny green birds.i went up to the cage and one of them hopped over to me and it was love at first sight.i paid £90 on the spot for nikki a 4 month old kakariki and its been hilarious from day one.
nikki and snoopy now share a cage against the advice of loadsa people who said they wouldnt get on and they are like best of friends they clean each other and copy the hell out of each other.
