My wife and I own one Quaker parrot called Cyril whi will be one year old in August.
Cyril spends a lot of time out of his large cage each morning following Heather around whilst she
is attending to the housework. Cyril has picked up a number of phrases that Heather continually
repeats. Cyril manages to vocalise these phrases and likes to go though his repertoire whilst alone
in his cage. Whilst we are in the room (coservatory) with Cyril he does not "talk" only when he is on his own.
However we went away for three days earlier this week leaving Cyril alone in the house but with the radio on .
Since we have returned Cyril seems to have lost the ability to vocalise. Is he just sulking!
Has anyone any ideas or experienced the same with their parrot?
