about 6 months ago. His name is Tucker and hes turning 7yo next month. Hes our first parrot (talk about jumping into the deep end
) and we got him from some people that werent taking very good care of him. He talks though not too much and weve taught him a few tricks while hes been with us. Gets along with pretty much everyone and will do just about anything for a safflower seed. Gets scared when he sees dogs or other birds/animals on tv and quickly runs or flies to us for shelter. Barks like a dog when someone comes to the door and laughs at us when we laugh at him. Generally speaking hes an awesome pet.
The screaming every now and then is ear piercing but weve learned to ignore it and leave the room so he doesnt do it very often.
Ok ive bored you all enough, here is a pic of Tucker resting on his "new" cage. (the cage we got him with was waaay too small for him)
But you look like your doing a great job and he looks very contented sat there. Hope to hear more of Tucker soon!
