What two birds are you wanting to try together?
My Conure and Parakeet live together all the time........they love each other.
They are both very young males. They preen each other and play. Some people
told me you can't put them together, so I was 50/50 on whether it would work.
As you can see it did.

The only ones Ive dared to have out at the same time and let interact are my caiques. The older one always gets to aggressive. Do you have lots of bird fairs there? i live in NY

I haven't been to any bird fairs. They do have them here though.
What types of birds do you have? I think if the smaller ones are flighted and the larger ones are clipped they can get away if the bigger ones get too pushy....

when i adopted mya :corella: last may she was clipped and penny :gcc: was flighted and she was very aggressive towards him. now that she is also flighted she can sit next to him without any problems, so i'll have to disagree with keeping larger clipped while smaller is flighted.

Ok I am not disagreeing with you, just pointing out what worked for us. It is true that smaller birds can be aggressive towards larger birds. I am just sharing our bird situation. Glad your birdies can hang out together now...since they are flock animals....it's kewl.
