Hi all.

I stay in Wilderness, a small coastal town which is part of the southern cape. All my life I've grown up with birds, alot of which we actually bred.

I currently keep 2x African greys, Dexter and Egor, and a Senegal parrot called Rocky. Egor and Dexter are hand reared birds and have taking over my house totally, very friendly and permanetly looking for love and attention. I am now busy building them an outdoor avairy which they will use during the day and come inside at night.

Rocky, my senegal was also hand reared but the petshop from where I bought him didn't take him out and give him as much attention because he has become a bit of a biter and is reluctant to come out of his cage. Will need your guys help and advice here please.

From what I've seen it looks like a fantastic forum and look forward to reading your posts and providing any help where I can.

Welcome to the forum.

You will learn a lot about why birds don't want to leave the cage. You will also learn ways of entising them out.

My Myrtle was a rescue who stayed in her cage. Now she claims the whole house as her territory.
