Hello from Kentucky

Postby BonzaiParrotRescue » Tue May 22, 2012 12:04 pm

:cockatoo: We are glad to be here and see so many parrot owners on here. My wife and I run Bonzai Parrot Rescue in Central Kentucky. She ran an Animal Clinic for 15 years that treated birds and we each have over 30 years experience working with and rehabbing parrots. We only take about 6 parrots at at a time as the ones we take usually need rehabilitation or to learn social skills which takes time and attention.
Anyway it is great to find this forum and we look forward to meeting and talking to you. :greycockatiel:

:swaying:
Thanks
Bo

P.S. We have just put up a facebook page and will be adding pictures to it. If you could like the page or share the page it would be appreciated.

Hi Ive always admired people who rehabilitate birds [I would think it would take time and patience] Do you then find great homes for them?.I live in Ny state .I dont know anyone close that does this.I love my birds to death .I feel that I want to do more.Maybe someday I can find a way to help a organization here.Love to here what your life is like. :D
