I am in love!!!!

I am new to this forum so I'll introduce myself! I am Rebecca from Cincinnati Ohio, my family and I recently got a budgie and a sun conure

I am in love with them both, but the sun has just stolen my heart!! He is 12 weeks today and the biggest cuddle bug ever!

I took him in for a vet checkup today and the avian vet told me he wasn't sure he is a sun 8( that he looked a lot like a jenday bu we won't really know for awhile. I guess deep down I knew buying from a pet store wasn't a good idea, but I feel for him. Usually I am a strong person, but not this time..... Jen or Sun I love him! I guess I feel rather over charged if he is in fact a Jen. His ankle ban and cert. says sun though. The the other thing is who ever trimmed his wings trimmed 12 on each side 8(

All this being said the vet said he is in amazing condition and amazingly sweet!

Hi When I got my sun conure at 10 weeks .I was sure I had a hybrid or a jenday because of all green[and suns are more yellow and orange] But they actually do start turning yellow from that green[mines 4 months now].I do believe its a sun conure now!! I heard it takes over a year for a molt
